## Email

Corrections, broken sources, products we should be covering, complaints about how we handled something: all of it reaches the same small editorial team.

**[hello@thepetdocket.com](mailto:hello@thepetdocket.com)** is the general address, read every working day.

## What is fastest

- **A wrong number:** tell us the page and what the source actually says. We will correct it and update the observation date on the page.
- **A dead link:** tell us the page. Source URLs rot, and a link that no longer resolves makes the whole record unverifiable.
- **A product we should include:** name it and say what published source has the specifications. If we cannot source it, we will say so and explain why it is not in the dataset.
- **A complaint about us:** describe what happened. If a product page misrepresented something, that is a failure of our method and we will fix the page and tell you we did.

## What we cannot take

We do not accept guest posts, we do not publish paid reviews, and we do not return links for a mention. If you are a brand representative and want a correction to a published specification, that is welcome: send the source and we will check it. If you want a placement, we are not able to offer one.

## Turnaround

We aim to answer within three working days. Corrections to a published specification are prioritised over everything else.

## A person reads it

Corrections to a published specification come first. Everything else is answered within three working days.

Every number we publish carries the source it came from and the date we read it. Where we could not verify a figure, we leave it out rather than estimate it.

Photographs on this site were generated for The Pet Docket and show cats and rooms, not the products reviewed. Product photography is needed; until then every product is described from its published specification.
