# The Pet Docket > Independent review site for smart pet hardware. Every specification, price and owner complaint record carries a source URL and the date it was observed. Independent, source-linked review of self-cleaning cat litter boxes and automatic pet feeders. Every number published on the site carries the URL it was read from and the date it was read. We publish no star rating of our own. ## Start here - [Best self-cleaning litter boxes](https://thepetdocket.com/best-self-cleaning-litter-box/): Eight models compared on waste bin volume, cat weight range, entry height, noise, Wi-Fi band and warranty, with the documented owner complaint record for each. - [Best automatic cat feeders](https://thepetdocket.com/best-automatic-cat-feeder/): Four models compared on capacity, meals per day, portion size, per-pet recognition and behaviour during a power cut. - [Litter box finder](https://thepetdocket.com/litter-box-finder/): Filter the dataset by number of cats, cat weight, waste bin size, entry height, Wi-Fi band, warranty and price. Filtering happens in the reader's browser. - [Feeder finder](https://thepetdocket.com/feeder-finder/): The same tool over automatic pet feeders, filtered by food type, hopper capacity, meals per day, Wi-Fi band, warranty and price. ## Method and standing - [Methodology](https://thepetdocket.com/methodology/): The rule set applied to every value. How a price is dated, how a complaint record is sourced, how the setup-risk score is calculated, and what is deliberately left out. - [Affiliate disclosure](https://thepetdocket.com/disclosure/): How the site is funded and what commission never changes. - [About](https://thepetdocket.com/about/): Who publishes the site and what the next version of the dataset will contain. ## Product records - [Whisker Litter-Robot 4](https://thepetdocket.com/reviews/litter-robot-4/): Enclosed rotating globe, sifting. Stable `id` on every record. - [One cluster](https://thepetdocket.com/api/cluster/{cluster}.json) and [one species](https://thepetdocket.com/api/species/{species}.json): The same filtering the query string does, written as files, so a host that only serves files still filters. - [One record](https://thepetdocket.com/api/items/{id}.json): A single product record by its stable identifier. - [OpenAPI description](https://thepetdocket.com/openapi.json): Endpoint, parameter, response and error specification. - [API catalog](https://thepetdocket.com/.well-known/api-catalog.json): RFC 9727 linkset pointing at the service description and this document. The extensionless path `/.well-known/api-catalog` is the one the specification names; it is served where a function runs, and the `.json` path above is served everywhere. - [Agentic resource catalogue](https://thepetdocket.com/.well-known/ai-catalog.json): The resources this site publishes. - [MCP server card](https://thepetdocket.com/.well-known/mcp/server-card.json): The read-only lookup server at https://thepetdocket.com/mcp. The MCP transport needs a host that executes the Pages Functions; the same three lookups are plain GET requests under /api and work on any host. - [Agent skills index](https://thepetdocket.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json): A task-complete skill for looking up a product in the dataset. - [Full text](https://thepetdocket.com/llms-full.txt): The complete public text of the dataset and the method, in one file. - [Auth](https://thepetdocket.com/auth.md): The state of authentication. There is none, and the lookup service is public. ## Coverage and limits This dataset covers 17 products in two categories. It contains specifications, dated prices and cited complaint records only. It contains no first-party test measurements, no star ratings, and no prices for models where no dated list price was found. Those fields are null rather than estimated.
